Mission Statement

AFSCME Council 76 creates a better quality of life for working people by fighting for fair, safe, and equitable working environments while improving the quality of public services for Colorado citizens. We strive to build self-sufficient locals through active members and a strong council.

AFSCME Council 76 develops and maintains all AFSCME locals in the state of Colorado. We represent city and county workers in human services, public works, water departments, parks and recreation, airport maintenance and engineers, janitors, emergency operators and dispatchers, and public safety departments in Pueblo, Leadville, Trinidad, and Denver. If you're asking, "can you represent us?" the answer is a resounding "YES!!" Click the "organize your workplace" link in the left corner or call union rep Nic @ 303-587-3371!
